The World Race has 100% changed my life! I look back 11 months ago and I don’t recognize myself! I’m so grateful for that! The WR shaped and refined my life in such a deep way. I leaned what a life living on mission is, what striving towards a life of holiness looks like, and what a healthy community should be. The World Race has placed me in situations and circumstances that required me to become dependent on the Lord in a way that I would have never been able to be placed in. I now can say that the Lord will provide in any circumstance and I am not fearful of the next step because he is there. Whether I get on a train or bus with no housing or go home and not know what I am doing the next day. I have learned that the gospel is worth everything I have and the chance to get to share the best news ever with someone is priceless. I learned that the Lord is constantly fighting for us and so often we are not quiet or still enough to experience it. The World Race taught me to lay down my desires and purposes for the will of the Lord and also others. I have learned about who I am in Christ and my roots have grown so much deeper into the Father.
